The
Hurworth Concert Band played in the All Saints Church on Sat 13 November
2004.
They gave us a superb evening with a two part concert, the first half
being a medley of great music spanning the realms of time and the second
a selection from the proms and pieces in keeping with a Remembrance
weekend. Included in the concert was a special guest appearance of the
N.Yorks Pipes and Drums.
They were splendidly attired in their colourful kilts and gave a stirring
performance.
Other
notable performances of the HCB this year included playing at the Hurworth
Grange
Picnic in the Park and at the world famous Beamish Museum.
