The Women in my Life - by Jean Kendall

'The Women in my Life' is the story of one family of women from 1900 to the present day. Its aim is to show how women's lives have changed in the NE and to recall both the difficulties and the good times in Jean's own family. It is amusing as well as being a social history.

Jean Kendall writes " My main aim is to raise money for the Macmillan nurses - to donate all the profits from the sale of the book towards funding another nurse in the area. Cancer is something that touches most families at some time and we may all need the care and attention of the dedicated women who work as Macmillan Nurses".
